Treasure Hunt
Financial Literacy Treasure Hunt
A FUN & EDUCATIONAL WAY TO BRING ENTIRE FAMILIES TO YOU
Turning your school, library, or church into a game we bring families in your community together in fun and meaningful ways to learn more about math, financial literacy, and each other.
The Financial Resiliency Foundation is striving to spread financial literacy in fun and engaging ways that empower youth and their families across Wisconsin. Financial literacy in America is at an all time low while the desire to increase it is at an all time high.1 91% of parents are interested in teaching their children financial literacy. 2 71% of parents agree that the best way to learn about money is from guided, hands-on experience or their own example.3.
THEIR NEED FOR FINANCIAL LITERACY, IS YOUR SOLUTION
Over the past year we have empowered 200 children and reached 70 families by bringing our financial literacy treasure hunts to schools, churches, and libraries. However, we need your help to reach even more. This year’s plan is to work with at least 50 more libraries and community organizations across Wisconsin and reach 2,000 students.
YOUR INSTITUTION IS PART OF THE GAME
Throughout the financial literacy treasure hunt, kids will interact with various sites and even the staff inside your institution.
Imagine families coming together at your local library, church, or school to have fun learning critical life skills and preparing for their financial future.
